Learn basic cheerleading skills in a fun non-competitive environment!

Get ready to cheer loud, build confidence, and have fun with the Harlem Community Center Fall Cheerleading Program! This program is open to boys and girls ages 4–13 and is a great opportunity for both new and experienced cheerleaders to learn the fundamentals of cheer in a fun, positive, and team-focused environment.

Throughout the season, cheerleaders will work on cheerleading fundamentals, motions, jumps, routines, teamwork, and performance skills. Our squads will have plenty of practice time to build their skills and confidence before performing at select HCC basketball games during the season.

The fall season runs from October through November, alongside our youth basketball season. Squads will be formed based on age during the open registration period to ensure athletes are placed with an age-appropriate group.

This program is also a great introduction to cheer and a chance to build skills before our winter cheer season!
